"Research and reference check your new manager, and review their leadership and track record. If you are over 40, chances are very slim for good career fit."

What don't you like about working at Microsoft?

"My dislikes are: highly political, employees over-worked and pushed beyond normal limits, high burnout rate after 10 years of employment, few women in senior leadership roles, company is very different from 10 years ago, and expectations are extremely high."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Walk the talk, have more women in senior roles, and eliminate positions of poor performances when layoffs are necessary."
