Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you are the man of action, think twice, whether you want to work there. If you like the status, good name on the visit card, like to be a part of the office games, and know someone with high status in MS, apply."

What don't you like about working at Microsoft?

"My dislikes were: having many managers with different goals settled on one time, working with Excel or PowerPoint for 60% of time, not much action but lots of explanations, seeking for the sponsor, and doing emails instead of taking real activities. There was no time to have a friendly relationship with colleagues. And there were politics, artificial smiles, and a strong push for the results but no support to achieve them."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Don't bring so many friends from the outside of the company. Have a stronger push on quality and results, and less on promotion of the loyal friends."

What do you like about working at Microsoft?

"My likes were: team spirit, not at all the champion, no arrogance, tenacious, ambitious, and share fighter."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Do not go in young. Get out and come back when you cash more."

What don't you like about working at Microsoft?

"My dislikes were: worklife balance, politics, revenue agenda that strives against the good intelligence for the customer, and feeling being right is enough when sometimes other companies choose to be smart and not right."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"My suggestions are: less scorecard oriented, more people growth and exchange of best practices, more outward/less inward, more honest, and with better R and R between a marketer who can test and a sales who shan't but can fail sometimes."

What do you like about working at Microsoft?

"I loved the atmosphere and the amount of exceptionally smart individuals you are surrounded with day-to-day. Everyone is dedicated to doing a great job."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Prepare for that interview because in no way is it an easy process. Microsoft receives millions of resumes a year. It is not easy to land a job there."

What don't you like about working at Microsoft?

"The only thing I did not like about working at Microsoft was the fact that the HQ is located in the Seattle, WA area. It rains the majority of the year and is cloudy. I was not used to that, which is why I networked and received a job offer to relocate to Southern California."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Keep doing what you are doing."
