For me it was 16+ years of excitement, commitment and rewarding fun work."

What do you like about working at Microsoft?

"I like working with smart people. As a remote employee, I get the benefit of flexible work hours. Sometimes I work weekends, but I take a day off during the week to make up for it. I love that we develop great software and that we help others create cool projects using technology. I also like that Microsoft is philanthropic and supports students and minorities in technology."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"For an evangelist, show involvement in your local tech community, whether it's organizing events or talking at a user group."

What don't you like about working at Microsoft?

"There are tons of products and it's very difficult to be an expert in every one!"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would change the performance review process to judge the employee on what they accomplished, and not on what they accomplished compared to others."
