"I disliked the politics, hypocrisy, and capriciousness of senior and mid-level management. Ultimately, they are going to do whatever they want to do and masquerade it under the flavor of the day initiative."

"It's probably the same at every company, where the board and senior level managers are simply mindless drones/puppets of the CEO and or executive committee. Stop the nonsense."

"Review the management team. Do the managers (ex: IT managers) have IT background and are they capable of managing IT people"

"The training aspect was horrible because the trainers, themselves, weren't the most knowledgeable and gave too many broken promises."

"Cut the training period in half. It is too long, especially when one learned the most while working the production floor."

"My tip would be to consider that there are good employees who have families and need to provide for them with adequate wages."

"I did not like their salary. The employees work really hard for little pay."

"Management should be more attentive to the employees' needs."

"This was a dream job at the time. I was able to flex my graphic design skills and my web development skills. Unfortunately, the economy soured and I was laid off."

"Be sure to interview with your eyes wide open, and no matter what anyone says, your position is not as secure as they make it out to be."

"Employment was tied closely to the economy, and when the economy went south my job was eliminated."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"It would have been nice if, after you laid off employees, you did not go out and buy two expensive corporate jets and refurbish the executive retreat. I'm not bitter, but that was a hard pill to swallow."
