"Make sure that it is really what you want to do. It takes a little while to get licensed and establish yourself."

"I miss being passionate about the work I do. I loved working in restaurants and in grocery stores!"

"Always be honest, hold people accountable, be positive, and open to new things."

"I have worked here for the past three months, even though this district manager is knowledgeable in the insurance industry, his delivery can use some major improvements. He is knowledgeable about running, operating, financing, selling, and everything else involved in running an insurance district but he tries to be militant, the leadership is toxic, support is only given to top agents, and the "little guy" is forgotten. The atmosphere is of the type where depending on the mood of the district manager is how well the day will go. Basically it changes like weather patterns. If you can stomach toxic leadership, this is the place for you."

"I dislike Farmers' agent and tech support as well as their underwriting guidelines."

"My district manager is fantastic, it is the corporation itself that is slow to change and innovate."
