"They were, like most companies, hit by the recession and were forced to make strategic changes to compensate which resulted in company wide reorganization."

"I would not presume to suggest anything. It's just too big and too complex of an organization. Perhaps the company could make it simple and fun."

"It is a very large company and change in certain areas was difficult to accomplish even when it is necessary to get business or support a customer in a unique way."

"I was very fortunate and worked for a wonderful manager for many years. Sometimes the management above would get so focused on business at the end of each month, they would forget about the ongoing customer relationships that were so important to having good partnerships with your customers that would bring in future business."

"Very difficult to have work/life balance. It is universal at IBM - they always need it now!"

"Plan ahead, realize we have lives outside the company. We give a lot, and if you need something right away and during the night it's ok if it's only once in a while, not every week."
