"The supervisor and the boss liked my styles and ideas, they pretty much trusted me to do everything in term of maintaining and updating the website.I like my coworkers, they are easy to get along with."

"It's a contract job. It didn't give me a big chance to grow."

"If you like low pay, no benefits, and working for someone with an ego the size of Texas, this job is for you!"

"I don't like the fact that none of the software is supplied, no equipment is provided either. The bosses were told to spend money by their accountant; instead of spending it on their employees they thought it would be a good idea to spend it on a Company Audi, instead."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Learn to take care of your employees needs first, then when they're satisfied you can buy your damn car."

"Good Downtown Parking, a steady supply coffee, and a regular pay check."

"Show up on time, do your paper work properly, and be respectful."
What don't you like about working at El Paso?
"Lack of reward for doing a good job, a 5yr raise freeze which has lowered moral, layoffs for outsourcing that actually costs us more money, secretive upper and middle management, and an attitude of contempt that filters down from upper management."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"1) Pay sales commission on profit not revenue2) Actually look at your products to see if you're really making a profit rather than passing costs to another department3) Nurture and isolate innovation rather than stifling it for politics while simultaneously crying for it4) Make sure those at the bottom, those who are suppose to execute your strategy know, and understand what youre trying to do rather than expecting it to filter down the management ladder. 5) Reward those who make a difference6) Own up to your mistakes rather than hiding them7) Align what's best for the company with what's best for the employee. Sales people sell what makes them the most commission, not what makes the company the most profit. Profit != Revenue. It's not good to earn 1million in revenue if you paid 1.2 million for it."

"Due to a scheduling mishap a lot of labor had to be done in a relatively short amount of time, but everything was finished to general satisfaction."

"The commute was a bit of work to get to and from the office. There weren't many lunch options in the neighbourhood."

"MTV / Viacom bought Xfire soon after I began working there, and treated their acquisition as an afterthought."

"It is probably a bad idea to buy a company for over $100m and then to sell it for less than $1m."

"I love that I have a say in what gets done, can choose the technologies used (within reason), and can publish the work I create within minutes of writing it. They are super flexible and understanding."

"Don't waste their time if you're not qualified. Go in and answer truthfully. If you're a good fit, they'll see it and take you."
What don't you like about working at Treelinegroup?
"It's hard to say that I don't love everything about it, but it'd be nice to have better benefits, regular bonuses or raises, and faster machines/internet."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Nothing, really. You guys are pretty good. Just do more fun company things, I guess. Lagoon once a year and a dinner for Christmas is nothing to scoff at, but I dunno-- I'd like to be informed more of the company's progress and goals."

"It's a dead-end job. Once I graduate, I stop getting paid."
