"Enormous learning opportunity. After coming to this department, I was exposed to various projects which only helped me to enhance my knowledge and experience."

"Programming skills needed because the nature of projects are such."

"Not sure. I had always enjoyed the work environment during my stay."

"No suggestions. Everyone (my colleagues) was hardworking, ambitious and determinant with their career."

"Ability to put my head down and code without many distractions or meetings that diverted my attention from the task at hand."

"The company was going through some tough financial times while I was a freightPro. This led to some short tempers and high stress on the team."

"Allow the development team to have more autonomy to deliver the best product possible. Set the direction, indoctrinate the vision, and let the team do its thing."

"Learnt more about Semiconducting Industry. Know more about how a company would become when it's finance management went wrong under poor management."

"They may hire you immediately, but think twice before you accept the offer."

"Not organise, very little support from people and too little budget to make anything thing happen. No one will do the task, therefore down to you to do it or the boss will come."

"be more predictable on manufacture planning, have more control on people with hierarchy"

"It must provide opportunities to learn new technology along with having a healthy work culture and relationship with the employee."

"Having no clear transparency of the way things run in the company(example: Appraisal)"

"A happy, healthy environment is in the best interest of the company"
What do you like about working at FOSSIL?
"The absolute best thing about working at Fossil is the employee discount on Fossil products. There is also a gym in the building that costs $10 per month. But if you want to advance in your career, look elsewhwere."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Ask for all you want now, because you won't get it later. When I was hired I asked for a certain income level that they said was too high. They paid me 2k less than I asked for. It took the company 3 pay raise cycles to get my salary as high as I asked for in the first place."
What don't you like about working at FOSSIL?
"I hate the micromanagement, the absence of career growth opportunities, the complete lack of internal promotions, good ol' boys network, the dishonest managers (who tell you what you want to hear, but do exactly the opposite), the impossible performance reviews and empty promises, being treated like a robot, the lack of respect from managers down to employees, decisions being made without input from those who are affected by them, the HR department which only protects itself, etc. I could go on forever."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Listen to my employees, encourage them to improve their skills, promote managers from within the company instead of looking to the outside the company all the time."

"It's been like a roller coaster ride - some very high and some very low points."
What do you like about working at 3M?
"I like the benefits, they are above average. The pay is great - very close to market average."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"My only advice would be to just give it a try - every business within 3M will give you a different experience."
What don't you like about working at 3M?
"There is no flexibility with work environment. 3M is very behind the times as far as collaboration and allowing for work from home situations. They are also a little behind on technology so it really inhibits growth for someone who wants to learn new things and actually be able to implement them."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Flexibility and more open communication would be great things to work towards achieving. By communication I don't mean meeting to tell us about the finances and what everyone else in 3M is doing. Clue us in on what's happening in our own departments so we don't have to find out about it from an email announcement at the same time the rest of the 3M world finds out about it."

"I liked that it was an artsy looking environment where I could do what I loved."

"The boss, Jeff, Was very hot-headed and screamed a lot."

"Great supervisors and the freedom to do what I believe is the right thing to do. Very supportive and trusting."

"Make sure that you know what you are doing to the fullest. There is no training and they expect the highest claimed level of competence."
What don't you like about working at DFSME?
"No pay. Worked very hard just for the experience. Also was about a 20 minute drive from my apartment at school and I did not have a car at the time."

"Develop bigger plans for the future of the foundation. They can easily get raise more awareness for themselves."
