"Being a university, it cannot provide growth beyond a certain level for my field of study."

"Plan the expenditures appropriately. Enormous data being generated as a university could be used more effectively."

"Working environment was not good. The air circulation was not good. Boss's mind for employee is terrible."

"Owner is a nice guy, takes good financial care of his employees. Good health benefits."

"The owner likes to joke around, but is very serious when it comes to the product. They are the best in the world at what they make and are very proud of it, and deservedly so. Just be honest and forthright."
What don't you like about working at Lafferty Equipment Manufacturing?
"Only two weeks vaction tops. No sick time. To personal days. You get sick or need to take care of something you have to burn vacation time."

"Treat professionals employees as professionals and not like clock punchers."

"I like being able to do work for a major corporation that I can be proud of in a steady environment."
What don't you like about working at Pratt & Whitney?
"Because there are many levels of approval, my creativity and experience in design isn't enough to approve anything, so whatever I do takes a week to do rather than one hour (in which I can complete a hard task)."

"Unfortunately, the time-issues cannot be helped in a corporate environment, but that's what I would change. Use my experience in design instead of taking forever to approve it!"

"Expect to come in as a drone that carries out the leaderships vision. They care more about what they want than what you have to offer."

"The leadership is lacking. People don't really listen. HR is inefficient. People have their own personal agenda."

"Listen to the people who are trained to know their department. Not think I know everything."

"L.L.Bean has fantastic people and an opportunity to work on high level complex projects. The great news is that once you are in, you can be in for life. The bad news is that once you are in, you may be in that same position for life."

"projects are inconsistent, no style guide, high level sometimes micromanages, departments are not balanced in hierarchy"

"More focus on the outdoors, less on the aging customer population. More innovation in products, web development, etc."

"I enjoyed getting information out to the citizens of Smyrna via the internet."

"The only area that could be better is more on the job training, i.e. seminars, workshops,etc."

"Hire a leader/boss for our developers that understands development and the intricacies of that type of work."

"If they are looking for manufacturing jobs then it is a good place. For technology jobs it is a stagnant career field."

"There is no focus on the future. We spend too much time clinging to old systems and business models to be truly innovative."

"I would have a much better focus on the future and how to be a leader there instead of sticking with old methods because of tradition."

"Generally a good company to work for. If you're able to roll with the politics at times, you can go far."

"Being micromanaged, politics control too much. Not forward thinking enough, newer technology takes too long to be embraced."

"Consider your employees and make them happy. Happy employees are productive employees."
