Had they not relocated my team roles to headquarters, I would have stayed with Verizon until retirement. "I started with MCI in 1981 following military service. I loved the small company philosophy. In the early 2000's, MCI was acquired by Worldcom. Once the company came out of bankruptcy, it was purchased by Verizon. This was a very good company, however, the small company feel was gone."
