"Pass this company up... they are still in the Middle Ages."
What don't you like about working at Spectrum?
"I think this company has the most deep seeded Southern tea party type racist anti president management I've ever seen. None will ever come out, say to your face that they don't want you in the management business, it's the kind of slavery that no one is marching to Selma about. its the new slavery. All the work force is minorities but all the management is white, just go look at the 2010 investor guidebook on the website, it has all the management as white and all the employees as African American. Equal opportunity employer, I don't think so. Jobs are created and picked for favorites, white managers have offices, black managers have cubicles. It's open racism but no one can touch them. Some VPs in Columbia walk around with monkey suits as jokes. I swear there is a picture out there somewhere, if you have it, post it please."
What suggestions do you have for management?

What do you like about working at Spectrum?
"I am searching for another job."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Only accept this job knowing that you can't find another job, when you do, leave. Jobs are very insecure and the losses to competitors are very severe, they will have to continuously cut work force to stay profitable, that means you will be fired. Don't hesitate to contact the federal and state government for any illegal activities or perceived illegal activities, but be discreet, otherwise you may lose your job for something totally different."
What don't you like about working at Spectrum?
"It's really sad to see this company change so fast from being a family oriented employee driven company to a profit driven machine. the main focus of driving profits is raising consumer rates and reducing work force, both are taking place without the knowledge of the public. It's very disturbing to think that shareholders have not caught on to the unethical tactics being used by the company to cut down its operational capacity and outsource its main core of services, such as care and sales. The bottom line is that competition is coming and the company is really looking for innovative ways to terminate employees, raise rates and reduce staff and increase everyone's work load. It's a real hazardous work environment for me, I've gotten sick, lost sleep, trouble focusing and being subjected to tremendous amounts of pressure, stress and not to mention poor treatment, including comments which are racial on-going is also big concern."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Please review the federal and state guidelines. I think we have some good laws, instead of trying to lobby in DC and spending million of dollars in law firms you can do the right thing and invest money into your customers and employees. Thousands of employees are at-risk of losing their jobs, and thousands will lose their jobs due to predatory management practices, call centers, marketing, operations and other personnel will be systematically terminated every quarter to show growth."
