"I worked for GE for 24 years in different roles. I learned a lot, it was always a learning experience and always a challenging job which I enjoyed. It went through some difficult times in the last 3 years but I believe they will overcome financial/cash issues and came back stronger."
"I've worked at GE Digital since April 2015. The culture of the organization has changed significantly, and for the worse, over the years."
"Excellent company and wish them well"
"I’ve worked at GE for 3 years. GE has harassment and diversity resources in place, but opportunities are based on an individuals network. Coworkers are to help each other in order to secure their own role. Management tends to down size lower level employees and not the increased number of mid-level managers."
"A good place to work with many opportunities for personal and career development. Great work-life balance and flexible hours. I enjoyed my time there and I have little to complain about."
"GE is a good place to work."
"Good job pipeline. Projects throughout California"
"Great place to work and great hours."
"Old fashioned leadership - stuck in their ways and make it difficult to innovate and drive progress"
"Great company with global opportunities"
"Industrial boiler design, company isn't bad and the people are lovely but the market demand for our products just isn't there. Expect never ending shifting of work to the east."
"I work for GE for around 7 years with great improvement and leadership learn. As well I have strong Practical Experience in hospitals establishment particularly with real sites challenges and existing factors farther than doing Consultants Design"
"I worked for the compression systems business. The business was acquired by GE Oil & Gas shortly before I joined. The operation of the business before and immediately after the acquisition was purely chaotic. Top-heavy with upper and mid-level managers that were more engaged with each other than with their teams. Interaction with managers was brief with little to no direction for each project assignment. However, after GE Oil & Gas took over, things began to turn around for the better. New management structure and with new management teams started leading a better way for the entire process workflow. Probably a better place to work today than before I left."
"I have worked for GE Aviation for about 5 months and I have never seen a facility operate the way things work here. This is a "Teaming" facility which is great in that operator empowerment is amazing but there is no real leadership and accountability is not something that is even on the radar. There are major problems at the facility and nobody really addressing these issues."
"I will not recommend PGE's Project Controls department"
