What do you like about working at General Electric?

"Pride of working for such a well respected company."

What don't you like about working at General Electric?

"The work life balance was too extreme."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"You do not have to be a big company....look at what Welch did when he sold off 25% of the operating companies when he took over. Immelt's view of the future early on was unrealistic, analysts noted that, and his guidance became somewhat arbitrary, irrelevant, and scaled down to account for his exhuberance. Focus on strong numbers, get the dividend back where it was, you are not a growth company...return something to the shareholders, and have the books be more transparent...too many Businesses under one umbrella...spinoff and focus on some core Businesses/Services!"

District Manager
