"Be yourself, be open and honest, don't be afraid to ask any question. Talk about yourself and your role within a team oriented type of approach. Team work is critical and so are values and integrity."

"The people, the environment, the opportunities, the communication and the cross-functional cohesiveness."

"To be more open and straight forward with the individual's actual growth outlook short and long-term."

"The equipment is dedicated turbine controls equipment and has great programming blocks."

"Get ready to work hard, but you will love working on the engines."

What don't you like about working at General Electric?

"Traveling 6 months long on the road is too much for most people."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Train employes more and rotate site work so the site gets more attention and the employees are not tired of 12 hour days 7days a week."

"Pretty good pay, dont expect much family time or career advancement opportunities. Constantly readjusting contract wording in their favor. Comes across as dishonest."

"Good place to get experience in GE dominated industry."

"Don't expect to be considered for GE positions just because you work for their subsiderary. They will hire outside the company, in most cases first."

What don't you like about working at General Electric?

"Wholly owned subsiderary of GE. Can seem like you are being treated like second rate citizens by full time GE employees."
