"Have worked for GEIP for 7 years and have found them lacking in many respect; integrity, morality and in support of their employees. They have little concern for employee growth or training and would rather work them to death and replenish with newer, younger and cheaper personnel, mostly fresh from college. They actively discriminate in many ways in hiring / firing especially with age."

What do you like about working at General Electric?

"TBeing allowed to, after exhibiting the ability to, take charge of my assignments and responsibilities, while having the cooperation and respect from others when requiring assistance or guidance."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Bring your A game, but dont represent as fact your untried talents. Stating that you are confidant you can do a job is the right attitude - and be prepared to explain why you feel hat way. Show your job flexibility and make known your focus on best business practices. Those will show you are going to be an asset and a valued employee!"

What don't you like about working at General Electric?

"Economics were taking its toll and there was a developing possibility for a reduction in force in all locations; based on supply and demand of the products."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Open up the fantastic library of resources in training and education by reducing or elimination the department fees for each employee. The career growth opportunities are there for the go getter."
