"If you are wanting a good part time job, then it's the place to be, but it is barely adequate at best for a full time adult."

What don't you like about working at FedEx?

"I have to work holidays, which I understand must be done, and it's almost impossible to get a vacation day at anytime. The chance of being promoted and moving up are next to impossible."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They could all learn how to work with employees and understand that you can't always have a perfect day."

"What I liked about working at FedEx Office were the daily challenges that were ever changing. The position allowed me to exercise my sales and customer service skills while leading the region to great success. I also appreciated the ability to learn new skills and the ability to exercise decision making skills."

"What I didn't like about working for FedEx Office was the lack of center-level management accountability, lack of initial training on proprietary systems."

"Simply put, manage effectively. Very few CM's had good team management skills."

"Before interview, research how much you could make for that position. Every position is negotiable. High, med and low for every job. All the way up to vice president! I got hired at 16/hr. I could of been getting 22!!!"

"Politics and bureaucracy."

"Get your HR team on a leash."

What don't you like about working at FedEx?

"My manager had a negative bias against women.He mistreated women. Under his direction 6 women left in a period of 4 years. During that time no men left. After human resources was contacted nothing was done. Finally, the manager was demoted and removed from management. This was his second demotion. He should have been terminated."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Protect employees from bad management. Human Resources should take a more active role on behalf of its employees... not managers."

"Be willing to work 60 hours and 6 days/weekly. If you can't answer with a yes, the interview is a waste."

What don't you like about working at FedEx?

"They will pay you, except when it's time for raises. Everything is off the numbers. I had the best numbers in the region, and for an E (anything larger is a hub) size building, but that isn't good enough."

"Become a people person. Get to know your customer, as well as employees. Your people are who get things done."

"Dallas - Continue to treat your co-workers well. Continue to treat them with respect. Continue to have fair compensation and benefits. Continue to employ great talent. Continue to teach as well as be teachable. Allow co-workers to learn from others in their department so they can grow in experience. This promotes good working relationships and loyalty. Good relationships have been the backbone of Kinko's success. Now Fedex office."
