"Working as a package handler at FedEx is a demanding job, but it is also quite rewarding. The work is physically demanding, but it is also fast-paced and exciting. The pay is good, and the benefits are great. However, the hours can be long, and the work can be tiring."

"well, Boy where do I start here ? Office lady I got txt from offered me a date /time fro orientation, I replied to her, in 1/2 hr. she said Oh, that day is fulfilled. I lost 4 days there. After orientation there we no follow up with trainer, guy only been there for fist 0,5 hr. then you are on your own. I start noticing discrepancies & abnormalities from whatever stuff they introduced us @ orientation. Talked to my immediate boss about it. We will try to relate it all to our bosses, they said. NO results. They called a sharing meeting with some managers to hear our concerns, questions & tips how they doing and what could be improved. We /5 floor workers/ told them whatever was on our mind. They said in a month or so we call you for follow up. Guess what ? Never happened. I personally have to compose email to one of HR. lady, which they share with most of bosses in office. I was approached next week and asked : did you resign? what did you write in that email >? Full truth, nothing but the truth. They Did not like it at all ! I was given paper saying I violated the company's conduct code & no copy for me, when I asked. They found ways to fire me. Now I am talking this issue to expose it to a higher level, including local paper, may be even TV or news Station. Let's see what happens. terrible communication between office, shift and floor employees. NO concerns about issues being delivered to them, some safety stuff, etc. Would not waste my time , energy and money to apply with them. Never"

"I do not feel that FedEx values their team members, profit comes first and you are just another number. The happiness and safety of their employees are very low on their priority list especially when it comes to Covid-19."

This is a “boys club” company ran by people who view you as a “commodity” not a person. As well as grotesque ethics violations within HR dept. there is no continued education or team building ( where I was anyhow) !"

"Before starting the internship with FedEx, while I researched about the company, I came up with the phrase “People first philosophy” mentioned in their website, which FedEx believes in, and throughout my internship, I actually experienced this! While working with FedEx for more than 5 months, I have realized that FedEx not only focuses on the quality of work assigned to its employees but also takes utmost accountability in taking care of the employees at the personal level. As I had mentioned before, FedEx gave me a learning platform where I got the opportunity to learn and work with the latest technologies and tools like- Java8, Springboot, Microservices, Kafka, Junit, Mockito, Jenkins, Gitlab etc that gave me an exposure to backend development and directly impacted my career to grow to the next level where I can confidently work as a full-stack developer. While working to develop Orchestrator, I got a complete freedom to contribute my inputs at every phase of the development cycle starting from the analysis, design and then choosing the best technology stacks after multiple discussions and POCs which speaks a lot about the flexibility at Fedex. I have been lucky to be able to get an amazing set of colleagues and mentors who created a warm, employee-friendly and encouraging atmosphere besides providing the technical guidance. All the fun discussions and activities here in Fedex helped to make learning fun! So am thankful to Fedex and all my team members that in such a short span of two months, I have been able to get a good understanding of building a project from scratch and also gained my skills towards quality development which has added immense value to my skillsets and I am looking forward to more such amazing experiences with Fedex!"
