What do you like about working at Best Buy?

"I enjoyed being able to connect with various clients, and business owners which allowed us to help build their trust, and be able to work with a team of people who all had one goal in mind, which was to help build an outstanding hometheater experience in people's homes."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I think that the best thing is to always be open and honest. I believe that we have to show what type of benefit we are able to bring to any company's overall success, and this needs to be done right during the first impression stage."

What don't you like about working at Best Buy?

"I wish we had more control of some of the mistakes our audio and video installers made at people's homes, and also I would have liked to see better partnership with cable companies."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I think the most important factor is to listen to what our clients are not only telling us, but to also make sure even after the sale is complete, we do whatever is necessary to keep the product, inside of the clients home, and this could be done through follow up, not from just the sales person, but also from his or her manager, especially if it was a very large expensive home theater set-up. Customers expect sales people to follow up, but wouldn't it be great if the sales manager did this as well? This is what I did for any sale over a certain price point, which drove down returns and helped maintain revenue."
