"It ran pretty well. Low shrinkage. High customer rate. People came back. It's pretty laid back for the employees and the managers are great people."

What do you like about working at Best Buy?

"Good discounts, variable work, and hours."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be honest, and list any relevant experience you may have."

What don't you like about working at Best Buy?

"Sometimes too sales oriented. As a technician, I didn't feel as though my talents were being used correctly when I was told by management to push products and sell services to make revenue."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Use technicians as technicians and sales associates for sales: the two should never be intermixed. If you have a technician that's a good salesmen, he's in the wrong role. If you have sales associates that would be better technicians, you have them in the wrong role. More can be accomplished when you're doing the job you're supposed to be doing."
