ECS was not organized in their manufacturing process and utilized software that was not adequate for getting the job done efficiently. I set up drawing set templates, data sheet and parts libraries, and design standard blocks for the company as an attempt to streamline the design process somewhat."

"Try and bomb the interview. I'll bet you still get an offer. Or ace the interview, accept the offer, and don't show up the first day."

"I disliked everything: the people, hours, pay, gossip, and politics. They are quick to point out flaws and rarely acknowledge good."

"Quit - you're not real management. You have high school gossip tendencies. Most of the guys in management are actually more feminine than the females."

"There are no job advancements, and no feeling of being a part of a team. No black or white... just all gray."

"Be involved and follow up. Provide feedback. Provide training, be professional, be approachable, and have open communication."

"I liked the sharing of knowledge with co-workers. My department manager was a wealth of information. There were very few issues with co-workers or management. I liked knowing that what I brought to the table actually counted. There was quality work throughout the company and excellent safety protocols."

"Be completely honest. There is no shame in not knowing everything. You have to be open to changing projects mid-stream. Your position is essential to all the other employees."

"Actually, I thoroughly enjoyed my job. I had no complaints at all. The day shift at times seemed to be preferred by our boss, but I tend to believe that was his sense of humor. Nothing worth worrying about."

"Feel blessed that you have such an awesome crew. Trust that we know what we are doing."
