"They would not offer a legitimate raise after a year of working for them, and I was in charge of testing."

"Contact your contractors on a regular basis, do some recognition things (like a lunch or t-shirt or cup with company logo) to build a sense of belonging."

"I do not believe that my direct recruiter supported their workers fairly, even when they knew the their client (my direct project manager) was clearly wrong."

"Be more in tune towards the recruited contract personnel. This goes a long way towards building a stronger relationship of trust between the worker and management."

"There really wasn't any room for advancement and growth or benefits."

"Add incentives like some benefits and it will attract more people."

"I liked the people and the open door policies. I was able to have a good time while still doing my work."

"Be ready to work hard and appreciate yourself. You may not always get the recognition you are looking for, but you can make sure it comes out in your paycheck. Also, speed is key. If you are not quick and competitive, you will not make it there."

What don't you like about working at Aerotek?

"Aerotek was great for me, but my only issue was with my direct manager and her manager at the time. I felt that her manager could have pulled me aside at any time to get my side of the story before moving on disciplinary actions. It felt as if my opinion or side of things didn't matter."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"If I was running the show, I would ask my recruiter about his/her opinions on the reqs that I was bringing in. I would also make sure that I am in communication with my recruiter about what types of positions are fillable and not fillable. My main goal would be to make sure that my recruiter and I were a team, and that opinions, whether good or bad, would be taken objectively in order to better the team."
