"I have worked for Global Imaging Systems for about 18 months and they have provided me with extensive training on how to create business out of nothing. Global is owned by Xerox. When I initially started with the company they put me through a 5 week training program that focused on getting in front of decision-makers and providing them with solutions that help them to cut costs and become more productive. They have also taught me how to market myself and our products with a minimal budget."

"To all that are not long time Xeroids... This company was once about the Customer and Employee. Now... sadly... they no longer care. My daily routine is now about absurd, impossible metrics. We have in no exaggeration 9 different positions that rely on my 1. They all come up with things for me to accomplish while doing NOTHING themselves. Oh... they don't communicate with each other so that helps. Sales no longer keeps Service abreast of the forecasts anymore... probably because there isn't one. In fact I KNOW there isn't. If the investors only knew what the real story is. I am still fighting to be proud of this company I spent all my life working for but the people running the show don't care about anything except their paycheck, and believe me... my frozen salary for the last nine years is pale in comparison to theirs. Xsentive is a Joke... that's the incentive program they came up with... it makes the weasels into super weasels in gamesmanship. VERY SAD to see what my career has come to. No advancement... no raises... no retirement. Most who have, take on another job to pay the bills. That's what we have in my future."

"It's like being in a preschool sand box full of middle school bullies. The drama never ends, no matter how well you work. Long term employees are extremely under appreciated and I'd honestly rather have a root canal or a lobotomy than ever waste another minute employed here. Granted the financial compensation is better than most things in the area and so long as you don't mind selling your soul they'll compensate you quite well to do absolutely nothing for the customers. In fact, that's the closest description of the business model I can put down without being vulgar. Before you go thinking that I'm just some disgruntled schmuck, I was a top notch agent, I went six months without a single failed survey and for four of those months all my surveys were perfect 10's. I quickly became a Senior Agent, a T-Bay supervisor, and was a production Supervisor as well. They insist that you please the customer but hold you back from giving the customer damn near anything, even when it's entitled to the customer. The worst aspect of this place is the high school like mentality of the popular cliques and the ones that are shunned. If you're not popular you'll be the target of everything from harassment to being the fall guy when a supervisor needs someone to blame for poor numbers. I wasn't that kind of supervisor so I didn't get along with most and was harassed, as was my wife, all the way up until we both quit. We went to in house management and even called corporate HR with no avail. I had a chair pulled out from under me the first week of April, which I quit very shortly afterwards and I fought with both Xerox and their insurance company ESIS until 3 and a half weeks ago to get them to pay the medical bills. I wouldn't let my dog work here. There are some good people there, mostly corrupt bureaucratic bull where, just like any other politics, they'll cut your throat to save their own ass. Pay is awesome though it's a black hole that will consume your soul."

"I worked at Xerox in San Antonio TX as a CSR or Sam's Club and it has been one of the worst experiences in a workplace I think I will ever have. I've witnessed my co worker be sexually harassed and management turn the other cheek. The supervisors I knew were all inexperienced, rude and unreliable. I've seen supervisors yell at customers, place customers on hold and curse and fight and make fun of other co workers. I've witnessed managers tell my co workers to keep their "mouth shut" if they have a problem with anything in the workforce if they want to "get ahead". You don't get any recognition for the work that you do. I was a top sales agent and you literally get stickers and dollar store toys for reaching hundreds of thousands of dollars in sales goals. No pay bonuses. And if you mess up? Even in a minor way, well if you do then they drop your pay to below minimum wage for three months even if it was their fault that they did not train you properly. I started as a .com info agent and was thrown into a sales position and offered no training and support so I basically taught myself so of course I messed up once or twice, but it didn't matter. My pay was dropped and I was punished for over 60 days and not able to pay my bills. If you get sick don't count on being able to use vacation days unless you predict catching the flu at least 7 days in advance. You have to literally be in the hospital in critical condition or they will not approve a sick day. Overall I learned a lot here and I've learned how a company should NOT act. Maybe ok for a young person looking to gain experience anywhere but if you value yourself then don't work here, you deserve better,"

"There is little chance of movement. Xerox is gaining market share of a shrinking market. Unless you are in the Rochester/Webster area, you have little chance of moving up or getting on interesting projects. I think it is a short matter of time before even larger layoffs occur in the IT space. Should that happen, there are too few IT jobs in this area. Those laid off would likely need to move to stay in IT."

"I have worked at MidasPlus since 2010. We went through 2 acquisitions by ACS, then by Xerox. The work environment was very productive and chill when we were a small company. Unfortunately a lot of that has changed after the acquisitions and now we have a big company feel. The co-workers are very amicable and talented and so were the mid-level managers."

"Dying company that has little value for its employees. Corporate bureaucracy is abundant and excels at stifling innovation. Executives are out of touch and fail to reward high performers. HR has been outsourced so your direct 2-3 levels of management have no say in your compensation. Tuition assistance is a plus."

"When I first heard about the job I was nervous, due to not having call center experience. Once Interviewed and hired I heard that you go through a 4 week training class, I was thrilled to hear this news, feeling more confident about my success at the company. That was soon spoiled once I got into the class and quickly caught on to what was in store. The first day we had a trainer who was probably one of my favorite people I came caressed during my stay. He taught us very well, filled in all details. Mainly nailing into our heads not to have our phones out, or use profanity, basic understandings at a work place. I felt good on my way home that day. The following day our trainer was a young girl. She was with us the rest of the training period with the original guy popping in every once in awhile. She told us that we could have our phones out, just to be cautious about it due to it being against policy. More eye opening things happened throughout those 4 weeks. For example, People were cussing everyday, burping out load with laughter to follow. She included, even repeating the N word several times while reading a journal that was left behind in the classroom. The ages and ethnicity's ranged throughout the class, and me hearing those words being said in front of african american women 50+ years old, really bothered me. That's one of the main reasons I took the time to write this review. That is absolutely unacceptable and any company that allows that will not have me working for them in any way. More things happened like fellow male employees coming in to flirt and talk to the Instructor interrupting the lesson for 30 plus minutes usually. She would also roll her eyes at some people in the class or say remarks about them quietly to other people in the class. Conversations about sex and male and female parts would be talked about out loud between the instructor and the people she gossiped with in the front row everyday."
