"I found that Verizon doesn't recognize talent. They offer you promotions but make you go through a ridiculous path and if you don't excel in any one area forget a promotion. I am highly qualified for an indirect account manager position but with out excelling at retail sales, they wouldn't consider me for a position where relationship building is the larger part of the job. I am excellent at relationship building. Although my managers recognize this they refused to help me move up."

There is no standard process and every program is struggling to keep things up and running; everything is a rush and quality is not important. This is not a place for long-term growth and only should be used as a temporary stop so I would recommend working as a Consultant only."
