"I enjoyed the independence and responsibility for drafting and finalizing leases in preparation of the opening of wireless stores in several states. I liked reviewing leases in place and giving my opinion on content, and tracking the terms of the leases, ensuring payments were made timely to lessors."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Work with the CEO directly. He is a great guy with a true vision for this company. Unfortunately, his managers were not reliable or responsible to keep this office open."
What don't you like about working at Verizon Wireless?
"The managers were not focused on building revenue. Instead, they were like children spending the CEOs money to move to bigger offices and spending too much time on decorating it. Then they had to find outside investors to make up the shortfall."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Having a nice work environment is important, but you have to maintain the revenue to support growth. Employees need to feel like they are part of the team and can affect results - not just there for a paycheck or to carry out orders without being able to contribute opinions and ideas that may be helpful."
