What don't you like about working at United States Army?
"Sometimes the higher-up personnel lose vision of the job at hand. They seem too interested in looking 10 years from now and ignore the current issues."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Pay attention to the people working at all levels of the organization, I have lost too many great employees because of management viewing employees as a number instead of as a human."
"I enjoy working for the U.S. Army Forces Command Headquarters. It has dedicated, professional and talented employees. All personnel with whom I work have a can-do attitude. They are dedicated to support of the soldiers who defend out nation and put their lives on the line on a daily basis at dangerous outposts throughout the world. As long as politicians in Washington reach agreement on spending, it is a stable place to work."
"The 1st Squadron, 38th Cavalry Regiment is a great place to work. I am well led with a great staff while deployed to Kosovo. Deployed living conditions could be better, but are much better than four out of my six deployments."
"Great place to work if you are fearless, want to become someone of significance, and be a protector or your country."
"I've worked for the military over the past 13 years, it's been an outstanding experience, but I'm looking for change and something more rewarding and stable to my family."
"I worked for the US Army for over 9 years."
"Enlisted since 2000, some of the great times, and challenges to be had in your life are as a Soldier."
"I've been an officer in the U.S. Army since 2008. The Army has multiple locations worldwide and employs 500,000 individuals."
"This is a military unit and I have been assigned here since May 2012 and have enjoyed my time there."
"Depending on who your boss is the Army can be alright."
"Been in the Army since 2009. A great starter career but I'd rather be in a more stable environment. With the wars winding down it may be a more stable living situation but for me it hasn't been."
"Been in for 14 yrs, best job I have ever had."
"I've worked for the Headquarters, US Army Special Operations Command for approximately 4 years and it has been a rewarding experience. This organization is the Army division of the Special Operations Command (USASOC). Since Sept. 11, 2001, few elements of the U.S. military have been more involved in the Global War on Terrorism than the Soldiers of the U.S. Army Special Operations Command. USASOC Soldiers have been amongst the first forces to deploy in support of U.S. and coalition force objectives and humanitarian missions worldwide."
"Happy with my service."
"I worked for US Army as an Operations Officer for 10 years. Not only this company helped me to become the person of character that I am today but also gave me the discipline of caring for other (specially when our job depends on the life of others). Could not be happier with the knowledge I gained from this organization."
