"The resources available were more than sufficient to perform and the training was ongoing for my entire enlistment. I was able to really shine in this environment and it opened doors I would not have even known existed. Coming from a small town, the Army helped me to understand how to associate with people from many backgrounds."

What don't you like about working at United States Army?
"Army politics did not always favor true skill and a motivated work ethic. It was not always easy to watch the advancement of those who did not deserve it. I advanced because I was a good analyst and soldier, but those I knew who were only good analysts did not."

"Stand up for your soldiers and support them. Work hard when you're at work. Care about the mission. Make every decision count for something productive."
