"I was only hired for seasonal work, not full time."

"My managers were easy going and expected the most out of me. If there were any tips to be given it would be to hire less during the seasonal time frame to ensure each employee is trained to the fullest potential."

"In the begininng I loved the group I worked with. Over time it felt like the sales team did everything and upper managment failed in giving us the tools we needed"

"its a good entry level company... Dont count on a raise they dont give them. They dont give bonuses..... They new sales manager is inexperianced and often gives wrong advise......"

"the lack of tools to complete my job. The fact that there were many times that I was not paid on time, Commision not paid on time or my expenses not reimburst for months."

"Get on the ball...... There is alot of compition out there. Your sales reps need the correct tools to get the job done. They shouldnt have to spend a week in the office printing there own samples. You may think this is saving you money but your wrong. Your taking away time that your reps could be out there SELLING.... Which after all is there job."

"Sometimes I feel they are disorganized and don't notice me. I don't get feedback and really know how I'm doing. Sometimes I see my hours cut for a week and I wonder what I've done wrong. I do make sales well."

"persistence is the key. stay positive, stick to the script and generate your own leads"

"the quality of the leads are very poor. It's like trying to pull teeth to make a sale if you can get to the owner"

"get better quality leads or make sure that the sales staff is aware that they are relying on cold calls to make sales"

"The corporate culture and training were great. A couple of the reps were very helpful."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be very, very careful. Make sure you get more than a 10 minute interview before accepting the job and interview them extensively! Ask about the turnover rate on new sales people and branch managers. Huge issue. Make sure you get some existing business (in writing) or you will struggle greatly. Not fun!!"
What don't you like about working at Patterson Dental Supply Co?
"Branches operate independently without much oversight from corporate so the culture is very different. They do not keep their promises and support from branch manger and seasoned reps is almost nonexistent. Would not recommend working for this company unless you bring the business with you. They claim to care about the offices they service; I was gone for 6 weeks and still received calls from doctors that did not know I was not their rep.."

"Ensure corporate culture and philosophy is in place at ALL branch locations."

"I have the ability to make my own paycheck there is no limit to how much I can make. Also very positive enviroment. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Also the contest and Prises are fun too"

"Be energetic and very positive. They like to hire people that are confident about their sales ability"

"Changes in call system slowed down my production, but in the end the time working out the kinks was worth the wait."

"since I was a kid I've always wanted to make video games so I figure it thats what I'm gonna do might as well surrond my self with it..an learn as much as I can."

"education is key in this indrustie it was not avaible for m in my city or other wise I would have been graduated an on my way I would say get as much as education as possible."

"I get the chance to get customer feed back on the latest games such as resident evil black opps which isnt out yet but the public really is looking for more two player action games."

"my manager is great I'm thank full to be working with a great staff.."
