"In my experience, when someone has a preconceived notion about you, it never goes away, even if others see you in a positive light. I'm sure this is true in many businesses. It's just a little harder when so many companies' leaders are women. Women have had such a hard time getting ahead in their careers, that they look at every woman as a competitor."

"I think some of the upper level management still don't connect with the sales force on the floor. They speak the inverted pyramid, but don't reach out enough to learn what the customer really needs."

"I disliked ridiculous sales quotas to meet with no sales traffic to reach said goals, talking down to you like a toddler, and being reprimanded for other people's drama constantly. The manager always shifted blame from herself onto the other sales staff. There were ridiculous mood swings from the manager and assistant manager."

"Get rid of the egomaniac upper level management staff who doesn't know how to deal with staff below them."

"I like the reputation that Nordstrom has for customer service, and I like the flexible schedule."

"The interview for me was very easy, but then again, I'm not a candidate who is fresh out of school where this is my first job ever."

"I dislike the very young management team. You have to work at a very busy store to earn the type of money that they say you can earn. The money a person makes at a smaller store is nothing in comparison to working at an 'A' level store."

"Quit using the VERY CANNED response of Well, it's not for everyone... in reference to people who struggle to make the money YOU SAID was realistic to make."
