"I was with this company for 3 years. I've had good managers and HORRIFIC managers. They do not care at all if you have any type of education.they actually look down on it. I cannot say that I ever enjoyed it. If you like fake people, having managers talk down to you and have them critique what your hair looks like (I can't make this up) and you enjoy kissing up an obscene amount just to try to get ahead, then maybe this place is for you."

There was plenty of room for upward mobility and the type of employee that Nordstrom hires makes for a very pleasant working envornment. "Cool place to work. Great place to work if you aspire to have a career in retail. There is always room for promotion if your numbers are high enough. It's all about the numbers so make sure that your sales are great and they will love you. Can be a bit stressful due to commission sales. Overall you learn a lot, but not for everybody."
