"To acknowledge the work done by those that actually do the job, not just take credit for the work being done."

"The company will treat you well, if you treat the company well. Try and do a good job, even if problems arise."

"Sometimes, they made last second changes to programs they had already set-up. That's about it."

"None, in general they managed my area very good. They took an interest in the client and their employees."

"Some of the work is kind of cool. A lot of technical content. Most of the people who work there are capable."

"You can do better. Find someplace else to work where management shows that they value their employees by treating them well."

"Upper management exhibits a culture of dishonesty, poor decision making, and puffed up egos. Moreover, they don't understand basic human psychology--they have forced a quota system for appraisals which has created a disastrous lack of trust between first line managers and employees."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get rid of the quota system for reviews. Give up on this idea that punishing people with zero raises is going to get them to work harder--you're just destroying morale. Get rid of the culture in upper management where it is ok to lie to employees. Support your first line managers--take some responsibility for your actions, and don't give them such limited options when it comes to assigning appraisal ratings and salary increases."

"The managers focus on the work you do. There is a minimum of favoritism and personality clashes."

"The company is contracting in size right now - make sure the project you are slated to support has long-term funding."

"There isn't enough time or money spent on designing a nice product for internal applications."

"Downsizing company to reduce costs as many were losing their jobs to be relocated with no choice of their own. Usually trained solo and was not given proper instruction to work around the company as I trained solo on the printer network."

"Proper supervision for training and have interaction with employee to provide better answers to help clients on site."

"A supportive and friendly work environment. Managers work closely with teams to achieve goals."

"No. It took them 6 months to review my resume and call me. SO, be patient."

"Too much politics and many layers of authorities that may prevent employees to get work done in a timely manner."

"Be practical and be supportive. Also, encourage employees to help each other."

"I didn't enjoy being on 2nd Shift, but I understood they needed me there."

"Management was wonderful, no micro-managing. They only got involved if they were needed."

"The culture that comes from leadership is horrible. Bureaucratic and defeating."

"Get with the 20th century. LM can't depend on its legacy anymore to attract/retain talent."

"They are a big company with a big budget which means you have the resources to complete the tasks you are set out to do. Also, the fact that what you make helps protect others."

"Prepare yourself for an interview of team based questions. Focuses on times where cooperation was critical to tasks."

"Stagnant processes that seem to hinder innovation. Not wanting to change. Risk adverse."

"Put more emphasis on innovation. A lot of the processes seem stuck in their ways."

"Our division or group was geographically separated from the corporate offices and staff."

"It seemed like a bad Return on Tax Payer dollars to have so many people collecting full pay while awaiting security clearances."

"Hire people after they are cleared. Be sure the reason for hiring them is going to exist after they start."

"From my childhood, I've loved F16s. When I found out that the F16 is built by LMCO, I wanted to work for them."

"LMC is a very good company. They take care of their employees, and when they say something, they mean it."

"Lunchtime. Most lunchtimes were very loud, due to the loud noise of jets flying by the cafe."

"None - management is well trained and knows how to manage."

"Human Resources does not adequately balance responsibilities with compensation (pay)."
