"I've worked for GDAIS since 2010. As a software engineer I have enjoyed my time here."
"Overall a great company to work for."
"The company is good, but very business oriented as opposed to employee oriented. GDIT has opportunities for advancement, and motive self-starters and leaders. GDIT is a very large company which supports internal transfers throughout departments and states."
"Worked there since 2011 and the company has been fair."
"A good place to work in the community."
"The location is struggling to change its ways in order to remain competitive. Morale is low and many are headed for greener pastures. Positive change is happening but will take years to yield fruit."
"I have worked for GDIT for over a year now and have found that a lot of the team leads and my co-workers are wonderful. However I feel that they promote on the basis of the less you know, the better when it comes to supervisors and other upper level management. But keep in mind that GDIT is a huge company and may be very wonderful in other sectors."
"EB is fairly good company to work for. Pros: Very stable job, low possibility of layoffs or Reductions in Force. Interesting subject matter as it is Defense related. Flex time for 40 hrs/week. Cons: It has issues with vacation time and organizational inertia. Everything seems to be stuck in the fact that the company is mostly hourly laborers (time clock, extremely restrictive IT policies). Parking at the main facilities in Groton and New London, CT is quite a hassle."
"Challenges are provided and incentives to get the work done properly."
"Good company to work for. Treats people well."
"I've worked GD AIS and company supported me in everything as much as they could."
"I have worked General Dynamics for last 2 years. I have enjoyed working there. People are very friendly and willing to teach or cross train each other. I will definitely recommend anyone to work for this company."
"I decided to leave my company Vangent Inc. when it was purchased by General Dynamics. After investigating the company I was working for, it became obvious that they were a weapons manufacturer and profiting off of conflict across the globe. I had ethical compunctions against that and decided to take some time off to raise my first newborn daughter instead."
"I saw 80 percent reduction in the workforce so not a good thing."
