"The benefits were great, especially for only working part-time for the company. There were also many shifts that allowed for my school schedule."

"I would recommend talking with someone who works at the facility you plan to work at and getting them to put in a word for you."

"I really did not like the politics that went along with getting a promotion locally."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Once a year we get evaluated, and we get to evaluate our manager confidentially. I would suggest that in reviewing the manager's evaluation you have someone other than the manager go over the evaluation to keep it confidential."

What do you like about working at FedEx?

"The people at the job were great to work with and understood their role and responsibility."

"Not very good at promoting within the company, in my honest opinion, with employee that is already there."

"What I like about working at FedEx Ground is the great integrity that this company has."

"Let the company know your abilities and even if it is something that you do not know, let the hiring manager know that your are eager and will try even if you do not know the job at hand."

"What is disliked about working for this company is that they only promoted people that they liked and wanted to promote."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The suggestion that I have for manager is to manage your employees at hand, do not show favoritism. Manage your employees and keep it at that."

What do you like about working at FedEx?

"Mainly the interaction with customer and my co workers. My day is never the same, always different for me, that is a plus, I need new challenges."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Talk up customer service. be flexible and be willing to work hard. Hopefully you will have someone you know working here so you don't have to stay at the bottom for long."

What don't you like about working at FedEx?

"Rest assured the good old boy system is in place, always get raises, perks and promotion based on who you know and not so much on ability and education. This company is looking to cut hours on full time employee now and limit merit raises to impossible numbers. This place is now cutting opportunities as we speak. I am sure my job will not exist in the next 10 yrs, use this job as a stepping stone, not a career."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Need more training programs and promotional opportunities for qualified persons. The gap between lower management and upper management is too great after a certain level opportunity dries up fast."
