"The antiquated system that was used to enter orders and being in a remote location away from other's that performed the same duties."

"The benefits and the casual attire. Pay is decent but could be better."

"Don't work there, it sucks. If I could go back I would've said no to the job."

"It's micromanaged and we're robots who have to read scripts and take verbal abuse from customers and third party callers."

"Listen to the associates and the customers and not have such a horrible phone system."

"I made good connections and really helped build a solid work ethic. The organization was built so there was no time to mess around and you were constantly bombarded with a steady stream of work."

"I wouldn't recommend that anyone work for this organization. If you are going to, my recommendation is to start looking for a job as soon as you start, day one."

"It was a relatively nefarious organization preying on the elderly and financially unaware. It was predatory and I felt uncomfortable doing what I was hired to do shortly after working there."

"Learn to manage rather than focusing on micro managing people out of spite."

"I loved working for the company, and I loved my job. But it was an unsafe work enviorment and management refused to fix it."

"Sears, in my estimate, is a poorly managed company with poor communications."

"It was a job at a time of personal physical turmoil. I had an aneurysm removed in 1999 and needed more time to recover."

"Relearn the retail business. It is not all about ripping people's wallets out of their pockets."

"Management is poor at the top and middle. There are poor communications."

"Revamp the communications system. Stop thinking like an accountant. You're in the sales business, so get the inventory and sell. Treat your salespeople with respect."

"It was a very family oriented and feeling environment. I could go to work each day knowing I'd have at least one person to talk to about both work and non-work related things."

"It's a fun job, but if you enjoy organization, technology that works even moderately efficiently, or easy customers you will be disappointed."

"The chain of command was too disorganized. As a customer service representative, we had a lot of customers with questions or requests and the management style was basically Ask _____ about that or take a message and that led to a lot of lost customers who did not have trust in our ability to make their experience a positive one."

"I would organize the staff so that there was a more simple chain of command"

"Needs to be equal opportunity to allow for people to be able to have access to other jobs within the company"

"Needs to create an incentive to help promote more sales and room for bonuses"

"It is customer-focused with top communication and staying connected devices. We are always learning new ways to assist customers. It is never stagnant, and very innovative."

"Be prepared for friendly competition. Because it's a retail provider, be prepared to work different hours and days. You must like people. You will need to travel for training, sometimes out of state. I loved it there."
What don't you like about working at Verizon Communications?
"The scale for customer satisfaction was not accurate. I dislike the traveling to trainings. Although they paid travel expenses, I don't want to travel for work."

"Provide independent work stations for more customer privacy. Also provide seating for employees."
