"Game playing, family connections, ass kissing, you are unable to give your opinion, unless its yes, I agree with you. Management doesnt listen, they dont care, Human Resources is uesless"

"Stop hiring relative. Management only cares about themselves and saving their jobs. Don't bother going to your manager or HR to complain. You will be pegged and they WILL find a way to get rid of you."

"The boss/owner seems disinterested in what goes on, so long as it doesn't have a negative impact on his bottom line. He spends too much time worrying about his personal life, and very little worrying about how the staff is doing or how efficiently work is being completed. He doesn't reinforce the team mentality."

"Selling U-verse is #1, so expect the sales aspect of the job, regardless of training that states that compassion for our customers is your top priority."

"Even when you succeed (I was the #1 salesperson in April 2011), they'll be on your case about sales the very next day. Rather than working with those who aren't producing, they browbeat the top sellers."

"If you hire someone to do customer service work but know that the primary requirement will actually be sales, then be honest about it. And make pay commensurate, not $11 and change per hour."

"I would suggest that a schedule be made of alternation weekends off so that everyone gets a chance for a weekend off. I would also suggest that more modern equipment be purchased to enhance the appearance and productivity of the department."

"I worked for West Corp, not West at Home. At times the atomospher at work was great, but for the most part it was like working in a pressure cooker. The treat of loosing your job was always there because of the impossible standards they set for everyone. Though the inncentives were great constantlt being told that we were easily replaceable did not help the morale for the employees who worked there. Someone got fired everyday."

"Just be prepared to deal with extreme work stardards in order to think about getting any benefits or inncentives. It is harder to get rewarded than it is to be deciplined."

"Always feeling like I was going to loose my job at a drop of a dime was horrible."

"I would create a pleasant work environment, and I would make sales and perfomance standards reasonable for all my employees to promote them to perform higher."
