"The customers/clients, the challenge of learning the industry and applying my brokerage experience to the field."

"The more brokerage experience you have going into this job, the better. Strong dealings with U.S. Customs, shipping lines, and clients who have little or no understanding of the import process."
What don't you like about working at Shipco Transport?
"Limited opportunity for advancement along with minimal ineffective training programs for new employees"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Implementing classes and training sessions with qualified trainers and software developers; perhaps scheduled webinars. This was a very effective training tool when I was at UPS"

"Kiss butt when you do. Rave about how much you love the company. And be a white male. Thats the only way you will get promoted. Or if you have family in the company. They CREATE jobs for sons, daughters, etc. If you're not, good luck!"
What don't you like about working at Bright House Networks?
"Game playing, family connections, ass kissing, you are unable to give your opinion, unless its yes, I agree with you. Management doesnt listen, they dont care, Human Resources is uesless"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Stop hiring relative. Management only cares about themselves and saving their jobs. Don't bother going to your manager or HR to complain. You will be pegged and they WILL find a way to get rid of you."

"I enjoyed the print industry, itself. I really enjoyed the different aspects of print and all the ways it's used from day to day."

"Perhaps consider another line of work, unless you've got a thick skin and can magically bring the staff together as a team."

"The boss/owner seems disinterested in what goes on, so long as it doesn't have a negative impact on his bottom line. He spends too much time worrying about his personal life, and very little worrying about how the staff is doing or how efficiently work is being completed. He doesn't reinforce the team mentality."

"Take into consideration how the employees feel, and occasionally put their needs before my own. This industry requires the office, as a whole, to work as a team."

"I would rather present the reality than making fairy tales of your progress. As people with amazing skills and performance were mostly benched, while those with one language and less experience were promoted."

"I would listen to the employees more, and steady hours and times"

"Selling U-verse is #1, so expect the sales aspect of the job, regardless of training that states that compassion for our customers is your top priority."
What don't you like about working at AT&T?
"Even when you succeed (I was the #1 salesperson in April 2011), they'll be on your case about sales the very next day. Rather than working with those who aren't producing, they browbeat the top sellers."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"If you hire someone to do customer service work but know that the primary requirement will actually be sales, then be honest about it. And make pay commensurate, not $11 and change per hour."

"It would be a lot better in another department without taking calls"

"your supervisors can determine if your eligible for a pay increase and if they do not like you, you will not receive an increase"

"I like having extra responsibility and being able to work independantly as well as with a team. I kije the interaction with customers."

"Know what your strengths are and be able to demonstrate them."

"I don't like the hours, being nights, I would prefer working days."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would suggest that a schedule be made of alternation weekends off so that everyone gets a chance for a weekend off. I would also suggest that more modern equipment be purchased to enhance the appearance and productivity of the department."
What do you like about working at West Corp.?
"I worked for West Corp, not West at Home. At times the atomospher at work was great, but for the most part it was like working in a pressure cooker. The treat of loosing your job was always there because of the impossible standards they set for everyone. Though the inncentives were great constantlt being told that we were easily replaceable did not help the morale for the employees who worked there. Someone got fired everyday."

"Just be prepared to deal with extreme work stardards in order to think about getting any benefits or inncentives. It is harder to get rewarded than it is to be deciplined."
What don't you like about working at West Corp.?
"Always feeling like I was going to loose my job at a drop of a dime was horrible."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would create a pleasant work environment, and I would make sales and perfomance standards reasonable for all my employees to promote them to perform higher."
