"Make sure expectations are discussed in the interview, there has been allot of turnover!"

"Working conditions, owner plays around with favorites and makes it uncomfortable for the rest of employees"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Take a look at your employees and train them without expecting to learn on their own. Visit with them weekly/monthly on job performance with the same format on each employee and listen to feedback."

"I like the benefits they provide as well as the people I work with."

"Be confident. Fake it til you make it, those words may seem like bologna but if you are confident in yourself they will believe it."

"Interviewers need to be prepared to train quickly and be willing to work and problem solve alone."

"I didn't like the confined work stations that they provided or the heavy workload for those of us that excelled."

"I would be candid in regard to the on-going changes at the Corporate level. On a positive note, I would share how wonderful our customers are and the great partnerships that we share with our Manufacturer reps."

"Do your homework and try having them run some test jobs first to check their quality and turn around."

"It is challenging not being able to manage my jobs in person and the extra time for shipping."

"To train the Account Managers to be more proactive and assertive."

"The people were great and they offered lots of training to help you get where they wanted you to be."

"Be honest and bring any sales background with you that you have. The more connections you have the better"

"It was lots of pressure for a small amount of money. It was very competitive and sales driven. It was difficult to get promising sales leads."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"To give better sales leads to the new hires. It was difficult to stay motivated when the leads that were given were not the leads that were going to make you or the company money."
What do you like about working at C.H. Robinson Worldwide?
"The experience I gained in dealing with difficult people and situations. Learning to be patient and ignore the overall negativity to get my job done. Those were basically the on things I took away from it, and I wouldn't say I liked it."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't. Honestly, unless you are just out of college and don't have a business degree but want to break into the business world in order to make more money than a teacher (although not by much) DO NOT BOTHER."
What don't you like about working at C.H. Robinson Worldwide?
"You literally can't make one move without having to consult 10 people, none of the offices work together, there is no 'TEAM'. The overall atmosphere is WAY too stressful for no reason."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Implement staggered schedules to allow for work/life balance for employees. Find away to allow employees to work from home. Increase pay. Set a cap on how much OT exempt AND non-exempt employees could work to avoid burn out. Hire a greater number of people in order to provide customers with better service and prevent such quick turn over. Diversify staff. I could go on and on."

"Understand the role that is expected of you completely. Ask probing questions."

"I prefer to work for a company as opposed to being an independent contractor."

"Find a way to incorporate a benefits package offering medical and dental."

"They took away a lot of customer relationships by having customers call in their own orders to call centers in Texas and Maryland."
