"I've worked at Bank of America for a total of 7 years. If you are committed to the job and know how to work in an organization of this size, it can be quite beneficial."
"I worked for BOA for a year. The company employs over 500+ all over the country. The headquarters are based out in Charlotte NC. I enjoyed working with my immediate team members. I gained a lot of experience. I would recommend BOA as an employer to anyone interested in building their career in the banking and financial industry. The employers are excellent and they create a good working environment for growth and leadership. Thank you for teaching me the most important skills of a work environment."
"I worked for Bank of America and its legacy companies since June, 1981. I started in the operations arena and migrated into project management roles for the balance of my time there. Bank of America was a terrific place to work and I would have continued to work there had I had the choice to do so."
"Great place to work, great team that I was a part of... unfortunately, they are currently experiencing massive job cuts. I would happily return to work with my old team, though."
"I worked for the bank for a year and half. Least to say, it has been a tremendously experience for me as well as been expose to a lot of different scenarios and technologies that definitely will help me in my professional career."
"Bank of America was the best company I have ever worked at. It was a great environment with a lot of professional respect. The best attribute was the ability to work from home. I firmly believe that the quality of life of working from home is the best perk a company can provide to their employees."
"I worked for 8+ years at Bank of America and was treated very well both at the corporate and department level. The company paid very well and acknowledged my hard work by promoting me up several levels in the relatively short time frame I worked there. I would strongly recommend this company to anyone who is a hard and dedicated worker."
"It is a good company, but with any big company, and especially a bank, the job becomes very mundane and slow."
"Technical talent is treated as a COST and managed as such. Bonuses and raises where in the single digit range for our team. This was after large OT helped our web product to generate 200 million in PROFIT to the firm. All team members who made the cut as contractors took large pay cuts to convert from contractor to full time. The carrot was for a bonus, benefits and job security. Great place for folks wanting to move into management. Tech hats should contract only for this firm."
"I enjoy working for my current company and I have been with them almost 6 years; however, my new supervisor that I have had for the past 6 months has poor people skills, micro manages, and does not have skill set to clearly answer questions related to our department."
"I've worked in BOFA for more than 8 yrs. The people are top notch and strive to do their best. The Bank of America has a challenging environment - heavy work loads and pressure but enjoyed working there fun environment with great people."

"Bank of America has gone to great lengths to avoid layoffs by redirecting resources. Although layoffs in this industry are inevitable due to market volatility, Bank of America's layoffs are not as much of a reaction as most other lenders."
"I have worked for Bank of America since 2009 and I really do not have any negative comments to make in regards to this employer. This company for the most part took good care of my family and I. The reason I left the company was due to upcoming layoffs."
"Long career, then layed off."
