"Good knowledge and understanding of the underlying business is necessary. It is critical to be innovative to make a mark in a technology role in a company of this size with so many highly talented and experienced professionals."

What don't you like about working at Bank of America?

"Since the bank has really large complex applications, a lot of the code is still in very old versions of older tools. So working with the latest technologies is rarely possible in these products."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Most of the tech savvy developers look for working on more cutting edge technologies; So the management should invest in developing new applications using latest tools and leverage the benefits of latest technology to build more robust scalable applications."
