"Back then there was no notion of flexI time or telecommuting. While being in the 21st century, these two aspects should be much more common place in the engineering work force."

"It has been seven years, and I am positive the current management is nothing like it was back then."

"Oracle Database environment is very stable; no challenge after work for 4-5 years."

"Focus more on technical innovation; push harder to migrate databases to newer versions."

"Properly align the right manager that understands all the job functions for all the employees he or she has. Management had to learn what we did and had no idea what we did and or how we did our job."

"I worked for Xerox from March, 2008 through Oct. 24th, 2013. Was a fun place to work, but they would not directly hire me. This is due to the hiring freeze, so they payed me the a purchase order through the calibration lab. Great people to work with, but they are rapidly ending the manufacturing/engineering portion of the business and becoming a phone service oriented business."
What do you like about working at Xerox?
"I enjoy working on projects dealing with healthcare information systems, and I have had the opportunity to learn the different subsystems that make up a healthcare system for management of member, provider data and processing of claims."

"I think people should be open and honest about their experiences. Although specific platforms/applications may not be applicable, their experience may allow for a short learning curve into the applications and platforms used by your company."

"Projects end, and there is always uncertainty when the project ends whether a new one will be presented."
