"URS is a very large and very stable company. Many people I work with have been there for 10, 15, 20 years."

"This is a good company, but they struggle the same as any large company. They are worth the time to work there and see if you are a good fit. Most people have been there for 10+ years."
What don't you like about working at URS?
"They seem to hire anyone to fill a position and then complain that they do not have the experience needed. They are focused more on filling a spot them finding the right people."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Learn to management, not micro-manage. Lean to encourage people not discourage them."

"I loved the casual, laid back environment & the friendly team structure where we could openly consult w/ a different development team for a fresh perspective & advice. The people were great, the work was enjoyably challenging."

"The only thing I didn't like abt the company was minor: the A/C in the buiding was too cold for the summer weather. I needed a space heater to be comfortable."

"Perhaps more group activities to build team morale & lighten up the serious mood of the office once in a while."

"This was a part time, temporary gig. It grew into a part time job and I haven't talked about it with my boss, but a raise would be nice. So it's my fault, not his."

"Disconnect from the office environment, getting necessary files/assets can be slow via remote, a little more direction would help me focus and reduce re-working and rewrites later required."
