"I have worked for Walmart for 5+ years starting from a courtesy associate to a cashier and finally as a sales associate. The management was friendly and the staff was excellent. My time there has helped me with my social interactions and customer assistance, whether it is ringing them up through checkout or helping find a certain item."

"Education! It was there for you to take advantage of, but limited to a specific line (i.e, merchandising, marketing, etc). At the time I was there, very little cross training going on."

"Again, this was a long time ago (14 yrs). Lot of double standards, very ridgid structure. Not family friendly. Management way overloaded and most hourly's as well. It's changed some, but still has a way to go."
