"I have been in the Navy for 5 years. I would consider the military to be a great stepping stone for someone who is just graduating High School. While being in the Navy I learned a lot of helpful tools and programs. I would recommend this job to young people. The service provided health care and life insurance. While in the military you can learn leadership skills and how to manage a group of people. It also taught me how to work with people and understand people from multiple backgrounds."

"I have been with US Navy Reserve since August of 2010. It is not full time work but I get medical benefits for my family which is very important to me. Until I find full-time work, I volunteer with the US Navy funeral honor guard team providing military honors to fallen shipmates."
