"I have been in the Navy for 5 years. I would consider the military to be a great stepping stone for someone who is just graduating High School. While being in the Navy I learned a lot of helpful tools and programs. I would recommend this job to young people. The service provided health care and life insurance. While in the military you can learn leadership skills and how to manage a group of people. It also taught me how to work with people and understand people from multiple backgrounds."

"My tenure with the U.S. Navy was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I acquired more skills and competencies there than I could have with any other employer. More importantly, I learned to utilize all of my potential with any task I was assigned. I would recommend the Navy to any inexperienced youth in search of professional development."

"I worked for the U.S. Navy for 8 years. In that time I gained profound insight into corporate culture, personal accountability, resiliency, and determination. It was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity that I will never forget. Simply put, it was the best 8 year investment I will ever make."

"I worked for the US Navy from June 2010 to June 2014. I was deployed twice and spent the majority of my enlistment at sea. It was a difficult experience but I walked away with an advanced knowledge of the IT field and how to work as a team."

"The United States Navy is generally a good environment. The pay is equal to the work that is accomplished. Considering that the military gives you a home, medical, dental, extra pay, and vacation time, the military is an easy life. The downside is favoritism, unrealistic advancement requirements, and misuse of funds."

"7 years ago when I first enlisted I thought I was doing the right thing, but now due to the vast changes to the work environment, I feel as though its my time to move on into the private sector. The education I received was beyond par so for that I am grateful."
