"Be adaptable to any situation. The best assignments I had were the ones my supervisor would ask, what do you know about this... I would tell him I didn't know much but was adaptable to learning and doing. Resulting in the opportunity to experience new countries and work with a great group of people."

"Not being able to stay for more than three years because of military personnel rotation system."

"Keep up the great enthusiasm for taking care of the most important asset, and try not to let WARCOM get you down when personnel are pulled from the organization to support higher tasking."

"Watch your back and trust nobody."
What don't you like about working at United States Navy?
"Those over me were retired military and really just there to punch a clock and get a second retirement. There was a lot of shady activity going on and the commands way to handle it was just not to address it. My supervisor committed six ratifications (unauthorized financial commitments) in one day and nothing was done. He was notorious for this type of activity. Like I said, people were there just to get that second retirement."
