"Great career starter. You will get lots of exposure, but it's not a place where you can grow due to merit--it's all politics and popularity."

"I don't like the low compensation for the amount of work, and the unfair rating of performance."

"No longer employed there - laid off 20% of workforce."

"I enjoyed the divercity of the company's products and services, their professionalism, and the target market that I was responsible for calling on."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"You need to be professional and work within the gidlines of the organizaiton. Hoever, at the same time you must be able to think outside the box in order to compete with the competition and allow yourself to stand out to your target market in a positive way."
What don't you like about working at Allergan?
"Each area of the organizaiton seemed to be a different company on their own. At times I felt that they could have assisted each other to reach their goals."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Try to bring in the outside sales force into the corporate offices from time to time. As an outside sales Rep., I felt that I was not welcomed into the corporate offices even though my territory was in Southern CA. This included special events that they had during off hours such as company picnics and Holiday partys. it would have given my a tighter connection with the corp. employees and company as a whole."

"They need some market niches to flourish. Many of the technologies and products did not differentiate themselves from their major competitors."

"Know going in that this is more of a telemarketing position than a sales position. If you are interviewing for a territory that is relatively young you can be successfull. This is much harder in a mature market"
What don't you like about working at ALLDATA?
"Telemarketing, the ongoing pressure of being written up if you miss quota, constant threat of termination. Poor training program. Local management is a revolving door. Having to purchase and give away refurbished computers to complete a sale (against company policy but practiced openly with management knowledge)You are selling a product in direct competition with a contracted distributor who offers the same exact product at a lower price point."

"Better training and more stability"

"I enjoyed every aspect of my job here. Unfortunately the RV Industry got hit hard when the price of gas went up."

"I enjoyed working with other dealerships and offering my ideas as a territory manager to help them increase profits and decrease the cost of doing business utilizing my expertise as a parts & service manager."

"Unfortunately they were required to make cuts to keep bottom line after the price of gasoline and diesel had sky rocketed."
