"I would support the staff with reports that would help them build and maintain their accounts."

"Good environment, but definitely not for everybody"
What do you like about working at Hague Quality Water?
"It's a family owned company with a friendly atmosphere. The managers are patient with new employees, encouraging them to call them with questions at any time. There's a lot of freedom in this field- the ability to schedule appointments at times that work for you. It's like being self-employed, but with the benefit of coworkers and managers you can go to for help. Sort of like having a safety net, I suppose."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"This is a commissioned-based job; you'll make around $380-480/sale depending on what kind of system you sell. If you have a bad month and make very few sales, there's a guaranteed $2000 so you don't go broke, but I still wouldn't suggest this as a job to just anyone, especially those trying to support a family. The hit or miss income isn't practical for someone who has kids to feed, and $2000 sounds like a lot to me as a college student, but it might as well be pocket change to a family. I'd only recommend this job to someone who has had previous sales experience and is confident they can live off commissions. Also, like I said earlier, this is a Christian based company. If you're not particularly religious, or just don't find religion appropriate in a work atmosphere, you may feel uncomfortable here. They don't bring up religion much during the interview process, aside from mentioning they're a Christian company. It's not until you get hired and start attending the mandatory meetings that you'll get impromptu sermons."
What don't you like about working at Hague Quality Water?
"Employees are only in training for 3 days before being sent out into the field, which doesn't seem like nearly enough time to memorize presentations. This is also a Christian company, which isn't advertised anywhere on their site or job postings. While the training manager wasn't to aggressive with the Bible talk, the owner of the company was an Evangelical Christian who brought up religion in nearly every meeting, even if it wasn't relevant to the topic at hand. At one point, he passed out pamphlets from his church during a business meeting. As someone who is not Christian, the whole act made me extremely uncomfortable. I don't believe a business meeting is the right place to discuss religion, even in a Christian company."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Longer training periods or, if possible, have newbies go on demos with experienced salespeople for a full week before trying it out themselves. Training for 3 days and sending them out in make sales isn't enough time."

"Be aggressive, and be confident in your abilities, and you will be fine."

"They cut our commissions, so it is impossible to make a good living there."

"Pay your sales associates better and give them better training."

"I liked the plant's, watering, and feeling stress free, and I really loved the people there."

"I think you shouldn't ever bother it is waste of time. Unless you wanted to be threatened, called names, and thrown into the insult of you'r life that it is actually growing itself without you, as the Boss, could never wait for you to hear enough times a second practically."
What don't you like about working at North Dayton Garden Center?
"I felt alright about the work, but sometimes my Boss worked me into the toillet and I felt like a raped bum, after a while."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I think the police ruined things for my Boss and his yearly staff. He really did not impress me that he jumped to conclusions and I felt threatned."

"This was my first job out of college and was a lot of fun. Not a lot of stress but not a lot of money."

"Get everything in writing, they always try to change your pay range and give you excuses, also they don't pay overtime at all."

"Management cheats over and over, don't keep promises for customers and employees"

"CEO needs to run the show because the management team are 100% cheaters"

"The chances you get to make money are numerous, and the people are great."

"This is a great opportunity for the right person. Just realize it takes time to get into the flow."

"I dislike the no-good calls, those where the people have no money to buy or the home is beyond repair."

"Keep up the good work at Sears. Get credit information ahead of the call if possible. Google Earth the property ahead of schedule."

"I would layout what your expectations are if you are looking to advance within the company and if there is actually an opportunity to move up within the business."

"I do not like the quality of customer service which effects the customers length of time with cancellations. I also do not like the limitation for growth within the company."

"Improve the level of customer service , which will help customer satisfaction and lengh of time for customers to continue using our service."

"The money, freedom in territory, meeting lots of people, dinner programs, interesting speakers, interesting topics, variety in work."

"Be perky, be positive, be a Barbie or Ken, have connections."

"Micromanaged. Must fit a certain mold. No room for individuality."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Allow more individuality in the sales approach. Less time time away in hotel doing useless things. Shorter meetings and training, but focused on what is needed and less on fillers."

"Be honest, and just be yourself, They are a wonderful place to work at."

"It's a little more micro-managing than I was used to."

"Don't change anything, she is the very best, she has been the best manager I've ever worked with."

"The schedule at Dillard's is flexible; I can pretty much make my own. I love working with customers to try to fill needs. It is low stress for the most part."

"Do not take the personality of some co-workers seriously, and try to have fun with the customers. Selling should be a fun experience."

"I don't like dishonest coworkers, and there is very little leadership from manager. Some coworkers are treated differently than others."

"Focus more on the presentation and the attitude of the employees rather than strictly going on performance. This presents situations where grunt work is ignored by some, while others complete those tasks which puts them behind."
