"Find something else that is not in home sales, it is not hard to get hired if you wanted to work there"
What don't you like about working at Window Nation?
"High pressure put on the salesman which is then put on the customer. The whole sales process is very deceptive. The appointments that you are sent on are very low quality, one call close means you have to sell them right then to get paid, you use your own car and dont get enough appointments to make the bonus money.The health insurance is the same price you would pay on the open market, the pay is 100% commission."

"Be honest with your employees and give honest pricing to your customers."

"Learning the aspect of the work there that takes place in making promotion products."

"This is only good if you need a job and like to work as soon as you walk in to 30 min. overtime (pay is not great). You are being monitored by big brother and likes to stand behind you as you work so he can therefore lecture you on how to work....the right way. Also they have dirty bathrooms and their work area is dirty."

"ManagementManagement andManagementYou could never win anything that comes in their path.They should let the new hires that they are there to make cold calls and not slowly pass this info on their laps. Everything is micro managed."

"Ease off on people and dont let one mistake turn into a big ordeal. Dont have a meeting because someone make a typo for a paper proof."

"Audit expenses dept to dept in Casino, find out which managers and VP's are spending your money for them selves and not for business purposes"

"Not A Good Place To Be In Sales"
What do you like about working at New York Eye?
"The frame products are very good and the clients we service."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Ask whether others have been in the alleged new territory they claim they are expanding into..especially if you are interviewing for a west coast sales position. I found out through customers that there had been several past sales people in my new territory-- so the hiring managers blatently lied about this fact. Many of my prospective customers will not do business with New York Eye"
What don't you like about working at New York Eye?
"This company hires us as employees but treats us as independent contractors. Its run by a CEO who is very, very tight with sales expenses and does not invest in current technology which would help sales, save time and expedite orders. Sales reps are still expected to fax orders into the main office and then wait for a confirming call back that the order was received. That worked great back in 1989, but please-- how about some Ipads or field PC's for the amount of accounts and volume sales reps have The VP of Sales has been in the role for over 2 decades and simply does not believe in investing in furthering the technology of the sales force. Also be warned--if you are a new hire, you will be flying to Atlanta for 1 week of training at the home of this VP of Sales. Bring your index cards because that's how you'll be keeping track of your accounts. If for any reason the VP of Sales doesnt believe you're a good fit for the company-- you will be terminated before the end of the training. This is an at will employer so they hide behind that and use it to get rid of sales people who want to ask too many questions or simply question why they are using outdates field sales methods, etc."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"If we are suppose to be employees then offer us full benefits instead of the lousy $150 medical reinbursement you receive towards a health care premium. You do not receive this, however if your spouse already has benefits. Also how about reinbursing us for full per mile travel mileage instead of a flat $500 a month. In California, gas is much higher than the rest of the country and with this sales role you will have huge territories to cover so $500 a month is nothing for vehicle expenses. Please consider reinbursing us for office supplies and more than $60 per night in a hotel room. From a training perspective--supply your sales reps with modern technology to help expedite the sales process. Get someone else to train the new sales hires who is in tune with more efficient and useful sales techniques. Conduct these meetings in a professional setting like a hotel conference room and not out of the kitchen table of the VP of Sales. Stop being so cheap and INVEST in your sales force!"

"They have good products and have high expectations for sales people. Company pays reps that perform."

"ICN Pharmaceuticals is a good specialty company with a lot of drugs and a decent pipeline; top reps make money, bottom 70% make virtually nothing in bonus."

"Inconsistent, and they acquire a lot of companies to get their products but then lay off sales people."

"Nothing, management was fine, the model of the company was the problem."

"The clients and co workers were the best part of working for the Rick Case company. Other than that don't make a mistake unless it is your only choice"

"They provide several interviews as if they are such a hard company to get in. But they will hire any tom , dick or harry and make them a manager as long as they do as they say."
What don't you like about working at Rick Case?
"They lied to me from the start about opportunity and income potential. The medical and dental plan was one of the worse I have ever seen. The company does not want to pay to get a better health plan."

"Treat your employees better / They show you a lot of smoke and mirrors about the company it's all about the money and power. When you hire a grown person for a position allow them to do a job."
