"The management is concerned about the end product not about the employees that are accomplishing the work."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would like to have a better communication and support from my employeer. I would like if I have an idea for change or a sollution that I know they would have my best interest at heart and not have a treating attitude that I am complaining."
What do you like about working at SSC Service Solutions?
"Every day is different and no routine day. I like the pay. I like my bosses and coworkers."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Stay away from the gossipers and listen more than talk."
What don't you like about working at SSC Service Solutions?
"No breaks and interrupted lunches. 10-11 hour days or 4 hour days...very inconsistent schedule. SSC will not allow overtime, but sometimes they have no choice. Management does not confront difficult MD's/ surgeons. Not tolerant of peoples differences, lots of discrimination..."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Keep work under 8 hours a day. Allow for at least a 45 min lunch. Control and counsel diffult, abusive doctors."

"Run for your life! They want nothing less than your life blood."

"Too much to do, too many tasks and responsibilities, too little time. And more piled on and on, by uncaring and clueless management."

"I would focus my attentions to concerns affecting the well-being of the patients, not the perfection of the paperwork."

What do you like about working at Hudson Hospital & Clinics?
"I love what I do, but the organization is slowly taking the joy out of being a nurse."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Dont' believe everything you're told! Get it in writing and amke sure they sign the contract! Ask how long the manager has been with the company. There has been extensive middle management turnover within Hudson Hospital."
What don't you like about working at Hudson Hospital & Clinics?
"The inequality of how work loads are assigned. Being a union facility has not benefited everyone. Those employees who work hard for their pay are often taken advantage of and not compensated for their efforts."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"There needs to be a way to balance the positive aspects of a union with the needs of acknowledgement for work efforts for those who go the extra mile for the patient and company."
What do you like about working at NorthShore University HealthSystem?
"I liked my patients and their families. Unfortunately, there was more that I didn't like about working here."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"It's all about who you know, not what you know. People are in positions they aren't qualified and (obviously) are only in it for the title/power. Worst management skills I've ever seen at any employment."
What don't you like about working at NorthShore University HealthSystem?
"VERY micromanaged, SO much red tape, no one knows why the rules are in place but everyone follows them blindly, no one knows why we did things a certain way but everyone does it, and the middle-management are so insecure about their jobs they discourage continued education."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The top down mentality kills this organization. I'd be more receptive to the staff. A lot more could be accomplished."

What do you like about working at Regional Medical Center?
"Covenant is a company you can be proud to work for. They have a strong sense of customer service and safe patient care. The staff is intelligent and eager to educate new nurses."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I do not have any tips at this time except to always be honest."
What don't you like about working at Regional Medical Center?
"Supplies are not always readily available. The floor I work on has a high turn over rate and therefore we often work without being fully staffed."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Only suggestion would be to find a way to keep staff on board and lower the turn over rate."

"Massachusetts General Hospital is an environment of innovation, support, highest standards with the some of the most dedicated professionals in the healthcare industry. Working in a high paced, extremely high acuity environment with the best minds, technology and resources makes MGH a superb place to work. As a Registered Nurse I have the best ratios and the most support that can be offered. I feel like I am a valued professional who is included in the growing world of medicine and Nursing as a profession."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be secure in yourself. MGH is a wonderful place to grow and learn from the best. Ask questions and be open to constructive criticism."
What don't you like about working at Massachusetts General Hospital?
"No hospital is perfect however I have worked at many facilities and MGH is beyond any other facility I have worked with. In my personal unit, the nursing staff is a group of highly intelligent, extremely skilled group that promotes patient safety, advocacy and health promotion. Being a nurse is a very difficult profession because you constantly have to filter exactly how a patients care is managed. At times the nurse-doctor relationship can be somewhat difficult due to our highly autonomous role and overwhelming ability to manage extremely sick individuals."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"MGH has the history of setting and maintaining the gold standard of medicine, practice and research. If money grew on trees some of the older buildings would be gutted and new patient rooms and units would be renovated. I would also ensure that the people working in the trenches had their part in the design of units to best allow for a unit that runs smoothly and is practical."
What do you like about working at Signature Homes?
"Signature home health and hospice treats their employees like family."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Strong family environment. Support throughout company. So many activities the company does together a a whole."
What don't you like about working at Signature Homes?
"Some difficulty communicating needs with new computer system between office and field staff."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Communication is imperative as well as punctuality. Patients would be happier with scheduled times that they are to be seen."

"Be knowledgable! The staff I worked with knew what they were doing, and were very skilled"

"There is nothing that I did not like about this company"

"I would have no suggestions for this management team. My Nurse Manager and her support staff were really good"

"I liked everything about this company - working with the staff and also the patients. We all supported each other."

"The only thing I can really think of is for the employee to make sure they are able to deal with death and dying issues and to reach for support from their peers."

"There was not anything I did not like. I was very pleased with this company."

"The only suggestion I can think of is to continue to support employees because this is what made us so great."

"We are constantly understaffed making it difficult to properly care for the sick"

"I would appreciate employees or at least pretend and I would try to get to know the staff"

"If you are lazy, not self driven, and really do not enjoy working with a team, than this is not the right job."

"I did not enjoy working in an area that was as confined as the unit, simplpy because I like to see more sunlight at work, even if it's through a window."

"Continue to reach out to your employees as part of the team in terms of imput for suggestions on customer satisfaction"

"all the co-workers work as a Teamwork, they help each other"

"Put some experience nurse to be as mentor to lead new nurse"

"There is less of attention for new grand support system."

"It has been home for 8 years, I know the people. I have gotten accustomed to the workplace, its protocols and how things are done so I could be proactive , use critical thinking and act on it"

"Be professional and true of themselves, If they say they are what they say then their shouldn't be any problems"

"Understaffed at times, politics involved, not as much support from administration"

"To look into productivity and see that quality is compromised by quantity so be mindful of it"
