"Senior management needs to keep everyone better informed, especially in times of down-sizing. Keeping things a secret breeds distrust. Also, there does not appear to be anyone really working hard to gain new business contracts."

"I feel that there is not much communication between the management and the engineers."

"Excellent pay and benefits, reasonable commute, the few intelligent people who weren't scared away or laid off."

"If politics is your passion and you have no conscience that would stop you from walking in at the end of a project and claiming credit for all of it, your opportunities for advancement are limitless! But if you have any integrity at all, run away as fast as you can!"

"An environment where politics and bureaucracy dominate and employees are treated like garbage. Managers were always brought in from the outside, sending the message that there is no career advancement. Those who do advance do so by claiming credit for the work of others. Too much of the work is about satisfying the whims of bosses rather than what's useful or good for the company. A lot of wasted effort."

"Create a culture that encourages innovation and teamwork rather than politics and back-stabbing."

"Get to work at many locations, meet new people at the different job sites."

"Just be yourself, be prepared, show up on time and make eye contact."

"That the contract ended too soon, and there is nothing else really."

"Coordinate time and locations better, if possible. some cross training in different job types."

"Be flexible to change, embrace change, they are down sizing slightly. They definitely love new ideas on ways to improve processes. They don't mind you questioning the porcess but keep it to a minimum. They don't like complete resistance or your opinion on why so much detail is necessary."

"There were some folks that push compliancy as a scare tactic to fix problems which I thought that there was a better way to get things done."

"Remove the scare tactic when issues need to be fixed immediately. Don't throw out names of high position individuals as ways to influence people to get things done on time."
