"Be prepared to work a lot of strange hours and not have too much help as you would likely be the only sales associate in that department of the store."

"The hours were not really flexible as they only hired enough people to keep the place running every day. So normally there would only be roughly one cashier and one sales associate to each section of the store."

"Hire more people."

"The management trying to get you fired, promises of promotions and then nothing."

"Get better and honest managers, and follow through on promotions."

"Started out as a great company but then they cut back payroll even though we were exceeding our sales budget. Managers had to work an excessive amount of hours in order to get the work done."

"Things have improved over the years because they have grown very rapidly and now they have more stores."

"Office Depot was a great place to work. Unlike companies I worked for in the past they had a great training program. They did yearly reviews and gave you a structured plan of improvement. They had great processes throughout the operation."

"Great place to work."

"We went through two to three complete remodels a year. This would take you out of your home store for up to two months to reset the entire market and was always overnight work."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Create a remodel team to handle major markets. As many remodels that need to take place to keep up with the changing demands this would pay for itself."
