Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you're old and suck up to them, you'll go far in this company. Oh, and if you're applying in the south -- you'd better be white... or you won't get the job. If you do, don't expect to get a raise, or promotion."
What don't you like about working at Office Depot?
"The management treated me very unfairly. They ignored my Master's degree, and paid another new employee (no education) much more money -- and gave him the FT position... yet I did WAY more work. This smells of bias, to me. This level of immaturity is unacceptable in a work environment. Nearly every decision made was just as poor, and biased. Again, I STRONGLY feel that this company has a seriously bias and favoritism problem."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Every manager I came across, had no business being in management. Experience does NOT make a good manager. EDUCATION, MANAGEMENT SKILLS and MATURITY make a good manager. You need people in leadership, who can think and speak great English. You don't need folks, with a high school level of education, in management positions... unless they have great management skills. This doesn't happen too often."
